Join us at Chase Public for a warm June reading from local poets Andrew Boettcher, Kate Fadick, and Rebecca Griswold.
Andrew is an aspiring poet. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University with degrees in English and Psychology, and lives in Covington, KY with his partner, Bradley, and their three cats. He enjoys traveling, cashews, books, flea markets, Shirley MacLaine and listening to the Universe.
Kate Fadick began working seriously as a poet in 2009. Prior to that, they worked with rural and Appalachian communities on issues of environmental and economic justice. Their work has appeared in Still: The journal, Kudzu, Pine Mountain Sand and Gravel, Wind ‘97, Blue Lyra Review and other journals. SLIPSTREAM, their first chapbook, was released by Finishing Line Press in March 2013. Glass Poetry Press released their second chapbook, Self-Portrait as Hildegard of Bingen, in March 2018.
Rebecca Griswold grew up in equal parts Scarborough, Maine and Cincinnati, Ohio. Since graduating from The University of Cincinnati, she opened and currently operates a tattoo studio in Cincinnati alongside her husband. Her work is at once autobiographical and fiction, seeking to explore the past with a fine-toothed comb in order to resurrect authentic imagery for the present. Her poems have appeared in local publications.
