The Hive: A Center for Contemplation, Art, and Action
1662 Blue Rock St Suite 1A, Cincinnati 45223
Facilitated by Davi Brown.
Our habits can be tools of productivity or destruction. Some habits, like brushing our teeth, were instilled to promote oral health; others, like repressing emotions, could have protected us at one point in time but may be worth reconsidering now. One way to raise the frequency of the habits we wish to transmute is engaging in a Sadhana, or daily, spiritual practice.
Each class during the six weeks will include a full Kundalini Yoga practice and 'take home' practice to engage as a Sadhana (or daily practice) throughout the rest of the week. We will discuss the effects of our Sadhana when we come back together.
Kundalini Yoga utilizes techniques and sequences of breath, posture, sound, stretching and meditation to offer support for thriving in our lives. This class will offer participants a deeper glimpse into the practice as a whole and offer resources for people to learn more and to support their own practices.
*Each Kundalini class consists of:
-an opening breath practice
-a Kriya (or a designed set of exercises meant to produce predictable and subtle impacts on a person)
