Did you know that insects are the most abundant animals on the planet? Their numbers are in the quintillions! How can we distinguish between so many different creatures? Join us as we learn how to identify some of our local insects and determine what is and what isn’t!

Scouts will be able to see these small animals up close as we explore the preserve. We will take a short hike and keep an eye out for any insects or other animals we may find, as we discuss their behaviors and unique adaptations! We will also make a bug to take home!

This program is ideal for Brownies in need of their Bugs badge! To sign up, please contact Naturalist Alyssa Rooks at [email protected] or call 513-876-9013. Program cost is $4 per person attending.
